Whole-system reupholstery of modular sectionals — L-shape, U-shape, chaise, and conversation configurations — finished as one coordinated piece, not a collection of parts.
A sectional is the social anchor of a great room. When it fails, the room fails with it. Reupholstery on a sectional is a different discipline from reupholstery on a sofa — pattern alignment, welt continuity, and cushion geometry must read as one piece across six, eight, or twelve sitting positions. That coordination is the difference between a project that looks finished and one that looks assembled.
Sectionals receive the same disciplined sequence as our sofas, with one critical addition — system-wide pattern and welt alignment.
Every module is measured in place. Sectionals built before 2010 frequently have inconsistent module widths from the factory; we document those so fabric is cut accurately.
We map fabric repeats across the entire run before cutting — pattern continuity is the most common failure point on factory-finished sectionals.
Each module is rebuilt to the same spec. If one module has a sagged spring, the whole system feels off.
Cushion cores are cut from the same foam lot to ensure consistent firmness across the run.
Welt continuity, channel alignment, and seam orientation are matched module-to-module.
We re-assemble the sectional in place and adjust connections for level sit.
For sectional projects in lake-house and family environments we typically recommend Crypton or Sunbrella performance fabrics in a natural-fiber-look weave. For formal living rooms, Holland & Sherry mohair or Schumacher linen perform beautifully and patinate well.

Yes — for large sectionals we can stagger module work so part of the seating stays in your home. This adds 1–2 weeks to total project time.
Common on factory pieces. We document each module separately during measurement and cut fabric per-module rather than from a single layout.
In many cases yes — particularly with modular systems. We will assess feasibility during the in-home visit.
Yes. See our leather restoration service.
Schedule a complimentary in-home estimate anywhere in Reno, Lake Tahoe, or the Sierra Nevada. A craftsman will visit, review the piece, and prepare a written scope.
